Welcome to Alpacas Atlantico Ranch LLC. Our love affair with Alpacas started with a fasination of the exquisite fiber they produce and has grown since 2003 into a full relationship with these peaceful and exotic creatures. When Terry first handled the soft lustrous Alpaca fiber at a Sheep and Wool show in New York State he became interested in the "spinning" qualities of the fiber and began a little research project. Soon Terry had begun acquiring the fiber and spending countless hours spinning it into fantastic "fiber arts".

As time passed, our love for these animals grew and we decided to have some of our own. We started with two fiber males, but quickly decided that we wanted to have some little crias running around. In 2005 we acquired some excellent breeding stock females and the crias started to arrive. The joy and excitement of each birth is something we patiently wait for through each season. Once we had our Foundation Dams and they had a cria at their side, we found it impossible to ship them off for breeding. To solve this problem, we added some top quallity Herdsires to our line up and stepped into the breeding arena as well.

Atlantico Ranch, located in the beautiful rolling hills of nothwest New Jersey, has grown into a full service Alpaca Ranch over the past few years. We have an impressive line up of breeding stock Alpacas from some of the strongest and best genetic lines in the United States. We live on the Ranch with the animals and provide their daily care and maintenance. Our small, family style set up allows us to know each animal as an individual and ensure they are in peak condition. The joy and peace these animals add to our daily lives is something we did not expect, but have come to truly treasure.

We love to share our joys, excitements and challenges with others who are interested. We offer a full range of Alpaca services and pride ourselves on our continued farm support after any transaction. We are always available to show off the animals or answer your questions.
